We're happy to announce that The Writers Room 5050 is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This means we can continue our inclusion revolution to support, educate, and empower up-and-coming storytellers.
The Writers Room 5050 mentors storytellers, writers, directors and producers for next-level success in television, streaming and film. Develop your pilots, pitch your TV series, run the writers room and direct episodes. Our alumni are in demand and getting hired. We aim to level the playing field in entertainment for underrepresented groups, including women, people of color, LGBTQA+, indigenous, disability, veterans, age, and woke men. Be part of our Inclusion Revolution!
Storytellers can join us for live sessions or they can participate remotely using Zoom.
It's not that we're giving these creators a voice, they already have one. But with your donation, we're giving them a chance. A chance to be heard. A chance to create. And a chance to change the world.
